Mozilla FireFox to enter the fight:

After Android and iOS as the major OS for smartphone Mozilla Firefox has finally disclosed the official entrance of Firefox OS for smartphones at Mobile World Congress in February. It is also estimated that the company will further approach to tablets also. In an event with Hon Hai, a Taiwan firm which is the major manufacturing company Foxconn Mozilla revealed a brand new device installed with Firefox OS.

Mozilla has been experimenting with the tablets in the market from a certain span of time as Firefox for Android tablets was launched in January 2012. As per Andreas Gal, VP of mobile engineering FireFox reported that when the project was in its baby state it aimed at tablets only but now they are focusing at smartphones. He told that the company feels about an ample opportunity in the field of smartphones hence they will target to tablets afterwards in future.

Jay Sullivan, senior vice president of products FireFox at the MWC press launch told that most of the designers and developers will be striving to construct a smart, beautiful, charming touch-friendly mobile websites to work in modern browsers any area of the world will be somehow unknowingly contributing to make a Firefox OS app.

Although Mozilla has a long way to cross its strong rivals Apple, Google and Microsoft in hardware market. We just hope to get a smart, user friendly, easy, adjusting, understanding OS offered to the users in this high end competition.
