  7. Follower – someone following your account on twitter will become a follower or you can become a follower by following other’s account.
  8.  Mention – Mentioning another user in your Tweet by including the @ symbol followed directly by their username is called a “mention”. Also apply to Tweets in which your username was included.
  9. Tweeple or Twerson –Twitter members, Twitter users or Twitter people are Tweeple or Twerson.
  10.  Tweeps – Twitter people that track each other from one social media/network to another.
  11. Twitter verse – The Twitter Universe i.e. the society or social network of twitter.
  12.  Handle –Twitter handle is the username they have selected and the accompanying URL, like so: http://twitter.com/username.
  13.  Hash Tags or # – Hash tags are words or acronyms that begin with the number sign. They are used when many people are tweeting about the same topic or from the same event.
  14.  Timeline/stream: The list of new tweets/messages that you catch from the people you follow. It’s reorganized every few seconds if you follow a lot of folks.
